Objective: The Certified Health Tech Support Specialist course is designed to equip professionals with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to support healthcare technology systems and ensure smooth IT operations in healthcare facilities. The program focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing medical software, electronic health records (EHR), hospital information systems (HIS), and other healthcare technologies.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Health Technology SupportL: Overview of health technology and digital health tools, Roles and responsibilities of a health tech support specialist, Importance of technology in healthcare delivery, Legal and ethical considerations in health IT, Healthcare industry standards and best practices, Understanding hospital departments and workflows

Module 2: Healthcare IT Systems and Infrastructure: Introduction to Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR), Network and hardware components in healthcare IT, Database management principles, System architecture and integration, Cloud-based healthcare solutions, IT infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting

Module 3: Software Applications and Troubleshooting: Overview of healthcare software applications, Installing and configuring software, User support and helpdesk management, Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, Managing software updates and patches, Documenting technical problems and solutions

Module 4: Data Management and Security: Data entry and validation in healthcare systems, Data storage, backup, and recovery, Health data privacy and HIPAA compliance, Protecting systems against cyber threats, Access control and user authentication, Monitoring and maintaining data integrity

Module 5: Patient and Staff Support: Assisting healthcare staff with IT-related queries, Training staff on software and system usage, Providing remote and on-site technical support, Troubleshooting patient-facing health technology tools, Managing digital communication systems, Ensuring smooth IT workflow in clinical operations

Module 6: Quality, Compliance, and Professional Development: Monitoring performance of IT systems and support services, Ensuring compliance with healthcare IT standards and regulations, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies, Implementing continuous improvement in IT support processes, Professional ethics and workplace conduct, Continuous learning and keeping updated with emerging health technologies

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
