Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Healthcare Quality Management: Definition and importance of quality in healthcare, Dimensions of healthcare quality (safety, effectiveness, patient-centeredness), Roles and responsibilities of quality professionals, History and evolution of quality improvement in healthcare, Regulatory bodies and accreditation systems (NABH, JCI), Overview of quality frameworks and models.

Module 2: Healthcare Standards and Accreditation: National and international quality standards, Key elements of NABH and JCI accreditation, Accreditation process and documentation, Compliance monitoring and gap analysis, Audits and tracer methodology, Preparing for accreditation assessments.

Module 3: Quality Improvement Tools and Techniques: Root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, Six Sigma and Lean in healthcare, Process mapping and flowcharts, Performance indicators and benchmarking, Data analysis and interpretation for quality.

Module 4: Patient Safety and Risk Management: Principles of patient safety and error prevention, Identifying and reporting adverse events and near misses, Medication safety and infection control, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies, Sentinel events and corrective actions, Promoting a culture of safety.

Module 5: Clinical Governance and Audit: Structure and components of clinical governance, Evidence-based practice and clinical protocols, Medical audit and peer review, Credentialing and privileging of clinical staff, Monitoring clinical outcomes and indicators, Documentation and legal considerations.

Module 6: Patient Experience and Communication: Measuring patient satisfaction and feedback systems, Service excellence strategies, Grievance redressal and complaint management, Communication skills for healthcare teams, Patient rights and education, Training and engaging staff in quality initiatives.

  • Duration- 60 minutes.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
