Objective: The objective of the Certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator (Foundational) course is to provide participants with a strong foundational understanding of Holotropic Breathwork, a powerful practice developed by Dr. Stanislav Grof that integrates deep breathing, evocative music, and focused bodywork to access non-ordinary states of consciousness for healing and self-exploration.ย 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: The Science of Breath and Altered States: The physiological effects of deep, rapid breathing on the body, How Holotropic Breathwork induces altered states of consciousness, The role of breath in emotional and psychological processing, The science behind oxygenation, carbon dioxide, and brain activity during breathwork, Understanding the link between the autonomic nervous system and breath regulation, Exploring the biochemical and energetic shifts during breathwork.

Module 3: Techniques and Practical Application of Holotropic Breathwork: Step-by-step guidance for leading a Holotropic Breathwork session, Understanding the โ€œtwo-personโ€ model (Breather and Sitter), The importance of the set and setting (environmental and emotional conditions), Techniques for guiding breath to enhance deep emotional and spiritual experiences, Exploring music, sound, and bodywork in Holotropic Breathwork sessions, How to monitor and adjust the process based on participantsโ€™ responses.

Module 4: The Role of the Facilitator and Managing Emotional Release: Responsibilities of a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator (safety, support, ethics), Reading the emotional and energetic dynamics of participants, How to safely navigate intense emotional releases (tears, laughter, physical movements), Providing reassurance and guidance during difficult moments in the breathwork process, Supporting the integration of powerful experiences post-session, Techniques for grounding participants after deep emotional or spiritual experiences.

Module 5: Integration and Healing Through Holotropic Breathwork: Understanding the concept of integration after a Holotropic Breathwork session, How to facilitate a supportive debrief and sharing circle, Supporting participants through emotional and psychological insights, Using integration tools like journaling, art, or dialogue to process the experience, The role of breathwork in self-discovery, trauma healing, and spiritual awakening, Guidelines for encouraging sustainable emotional well-being post-session.

Module 6: Ethics, Professionalism, and Building a Holotropic Breathwork Practice: Ethical standards and professional conduct as a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator, Creating and maintaining a safe space for participants (physical, emotional, energetic), Handling difficult situations and maintaining composure during intense sessions, Strategies for building and promoting a Holotropic Breathwork practice (marketing, community outreach, workshops), Ongoing personal development and self-care as a facilitator, Continuing education and deepening your practice within the Holotropic Breathwork community.

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
