Objective: The Certified Hospital Facility Manager course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills required to efficiently manage the infrastructure, operations, and non-clinical services of healthcare facilities. The course covers key areas including facility planning and maintenance, biomedical equipment management, hygiene and sanitation, safety and compliance, energy management, and waste disposal.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Hospital Facility Management: Overview of hospital infrastructure and facility functions, Role and responsibilities of a hospital facility manager, Types of healthcare facilities and regulatory requirements, Interdepartmental coordination and workflow in hospitals, Basic principles of healthcare administration and management, Ethics, safety, and compliance in healthcare facilities.
Module 2: Building Systems and Maintenance Management: HVAC, electrical, water supply, and waste disposal systems in hospitals, Maintenance planning and preventive maintenance scheduling, Energy efficiency and green building practices in healthcare, Biomedical equipment maintenance coordination, Facility layout optimization and space utilization, Monitoring and ensuring uninterrupted facility operations.
Module 3: Safety, Security and Infection Control: Hospital safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans, Fire safety, disaster management, and evacuation procedures, Security management and visitor control systems, Infection prevention and control (IPC) standards, Hazardous material handling and biomedical waste management, Risk assessment and incident reporting procedures.
Module 4: Regulatory Compliance and Quality Standards: Understanding healthcare facility laws and accreditation requirements (e.g., NABH, JCI), Documentation and audit preparation for facility inspections, Managing licenses, certificates, and compliance reports, Role of facility manager in quality improvement programs, Workplace safety regulations and labor law compliance, Handling legal and ethical issues related to facilities.
Module 5: Procurement, Inventory and Vendor Management: Procurement planning and tendering processes for hospital equipment, Managing contracts, service agreements, and SLAs with vendors, Inventory tracking systems and store room management, Cost control in equipment and supply procurement, Vendor evaluation and relationship management, Coordination with supply chain and finance departments.
Module 6: Communication, Leadership and Technology Integration: Team management, delegation, and leadership in facility operations, Effective communication with clinical and non-clinical departments, Training and skill development for facility staff, Use of Facility Management Systems (FMS) and hospital ERP software, Data management and facility performance reporting, Continuous improvement and career growth strategies in hospital facility management.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
