The course focuses on instilling high standards of communication, etiquette, cleanliness, responsiveness, and emotional intelligence among healthcare support staff. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Healthcare Hospitality: Overview of healthcare industry and patient-centric hospitality, Role of hospitality in enhancing patient experience, Understanding patient expectations and empathy, Service quality standards in healthcare settings, Soft skills for healthcare hospitality professionals, Professional conduct and grooming in healthcare.

Module 2: Front Office and Patient Reception Management: Structure and functioning of hospital front office, Patient registration and admission procedures, Handling enquiries and appointments, Managing patient flow and waiting time, Communication and coordination with clinical staff, Handling emergencies and VIP patients.

Module 3: Housekeeping and Facility Management in Healthcare: Principles of hospital housekeeping and sanitation, Infection control and hygiene protocols, Waste disposal and biomedical waste handling, Room cleaning procedures and linen management, Use of equipment and cleaning agents, Coordination with nursing and maintenance departments.

Module 4: Food & Nutrition Services in Hospitals: Basics of clinical nutrition and dietary requirements, Meal planning as per patient health needs, Food safety, hygiene, and serving techniques, Coordination with dieticians and F&B staff, Room service protocols in hospitals, Managing special dietary needs and restrictions.

Module 5: Patient Care, Rights and Grievance Handling: Understanding patient rights and responsibilities, Patient care standards and support services, Handling patient feedback and complaints, Communication with patients and family members, Cultural sensitivity and respect in service delivery, Ethical behavior and confidentiality in healthcare.

Module 6: Safety, Emergency & Quality Assurance in Healthcare Hospitality: Safety standards and emergency preparedness in hospitals, Fire safety and evacuation drills, Role of hospitality staff in medical emergencies, Quality assurance and audit processes, Compliance with NABH and healthcare regulations, Continuous improvement and feedback integration.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
