The course covers core areas of hospitality management, food production, customer service, banquet planning, and business strategy required to excel in the dynamic hotel and catering industry.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Hotel and Catering Industry: Overview of the hospitality and catering sectors, Classification and types of hotels and catering establishments, Organizational structure and key departments, Functions of hotel and catering management, Roles and responsibilities of professionals, Trends and global developments in the industry.

Module 2: Front Office and Guest Management: Reservation and registration procedures, Guest check-in and check-out processes, Handling guest complaints and requests, Concierge and guest services operations, Coordination with housekeeping and other departments, Use of property management systems (PMS).

Module 3: Food Production and Kitchen Management: Basic kitchen organization and staff roles, Food production principles and cooking methods, Kitchen equipment and hygiene practices, Menu planning and standard recipe formulation, Inventory and cost control techniques, Waste management and sustainability in food preparation.

Module 4: Food and Beverage Service Management: Types of food and beverage services, Table setup and service sequence, Banquet and event catering management, Beverage knowledge and bar operations, Customer service and upselling techniques, Quality control and guest feedback handling.

Module 5: Housekeeping and Facility Operations: Housekeeping organization and responsibilities, Room cleaning and inspection procedures, Linen and laundry operations, Interior decoration and maintenance, Hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards, Use of housekeeping software and reports.

Module 6: Business, HR, and Financial Management: Budgeting and financial planning for hotels and catering units, HR planning, recruitment, and training, Performance evaluation and team management, Sales and marketing strategies for hospitality businesses, Customer relationship management (CRM), Legal compliance and industry standards.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
