Objective: The Certified HSE Officer (Fire Safety Specialization) course is designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required to manage workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) responsibilities with a strong emphasis on fire prevention and emergency response. The course aims to develop competence in identifying hazards, assessing fire risks, implementing control measures, and ensuring compliance with national and international safety standards.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire & Safety Management: Fire chemistry and behavior, Classes of fire and characteristics, Fire load and combustion factors, Heat transfer mechanisms (conduction, convection, radiation), Fire growth stages and smoke movement, Fire risk identification and evaluation

Module 2: Fire Prevention & Control Techniques: Fire hazard recognition in workplaces, Engineering controls for fire prevention, Fire detection and alarm systems, Fire suppression equipment (extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers), Inspection and maintenance of fire systems, Hot-work and ignition source control procedures

Module 3: Fire Safety Engineering & System Design: Fire protection system components and standards, Fire sprinkler and hydrant system layout, Fire pump room design requirements, Smoke control and ventilation systems, Emergency power and lighting systems, Codes and regulations for fire system installation

Module 4: Emergency Response & Evacuation Planning: Emergency action plan components, Fire drill planning and execution, Evacuation route design and assembly point management, Incident command structure and communication, Emergency rescue procedures, Coordination with local fire authorities

Module 5: Occupational Health, Safety & Legal Compliance: HSE roles and responsibilities, Workplace hazard analysis and control measures, Permit-to-work systems, Relevant national and international fire safety regulations, Accident/incident reporting and investigation, Safety documentation and auditing

Module 6: Firefighting Operations & Practical Skills: Types and operation of firefighting equipment, Firefighting tactics for various scenarios, Use of PPE and breathing apparatus, Live fire simulation exercises, Search and rescue techniques, Post-fire assessment and recovery procedures

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
