Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified International Logistics Manager course is designed to equip professionals with advanced knowledge and strategic skills required to manage global logistics operations effectively. The course covers international supply chain management, import-export procedures, cross-border transportation, customs clearance, trade compliance (including INCOTERMS, WTO, and FTAs), global freight forwarding, warehouse and distribution management, and logistics cost optimization. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of International Logistics: Definition and Scope of International Logistics, Global Supply Chain Structure and Functions, Role and Responsibilities of an International Logistics Manager, Types of International Cargo and Transport Modes, Key Stakeholders in Global Logistics, Challenges in Cross-Border Logistics Operations.

Module 2: International Shipping and Transport Management: Ocean, Air, Road, Rail, and Multimodal Transport Overview, Freight Forwarding and Carrier Selection, Route Planning and Transit Time Optimization, Cargo Consolidation and Containerization, Shipping Line and Airline Coordination, Transport Costing and Freight Rate Negotiation.

Module 3: Import-Export Documentation and Customs Compliance: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Import-Export Licensing and Permits, Harmonized System (HS) Codes and Classification, Customs Clearance Procedures and Duty Calculation, Regulatory Authorities and Trade Facilitation Programs.

Module 4: Incoterms, Trade Finance, and Risk Management: Understanding Incoterms 2020 and Role in Logistics, Payment Methods in International Trade (LC, TT, Open Account), Cargo Insurance and Risk Coverage, Contractual Terms and Liabilities, Risk Identification and Mitigation Strategies, Case Studies on Logistics Disruptions.

Module 5: Warehouse and Inventory Management in Global Trade: Strategic Warehouse Location Planning, Global Inventory Control Techniques, Bonded and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Warehousing, Warehousing Technologies and Automation, Stock Replenishment and Order Fulfillment, Integration of Warehousing with International Logistics.

Module 6: Technology, Sustainability, and Performance Optimization: Digitalization in Global Logistics (TMS, WMS, SCM Systems), Real-Time Tracking and Visibility Tools, Blockchain and IoT in International Logistics, Green Logistics and Sustainable Practices, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Benchmarking, Continuous Improvement in International Logistics Strategies.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
