Objective: The Certified International Trade Policy Advisor (CITPA) course is designed to develop professionals with a deep understanding of international trade systems, policies, and regulatory environments. The course provides comprehensive knowledge of global trade frameworks such as WTO rules, trade agreements (bilateral, regional, and multilateral), tariff and non-tariff barriers, trade dispute mechanisms, and the role of trade in sustainable development.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of International Trade: Principles of Comparative Advantage, Trade Theories and Global Trade Systems, Balance of Payments and Trade Deficits, Trade in Goods vs. Services, Economic Integration and Trade Blocs, Key International Trade Institutions (WTO, IMF, World Bank).
Module 2: Trade Policy Formulation and Instruments: Tariffs and Non-Tariff Barriers, Subsidies, Quotas, and Safeguards, Trade Policy Objectives and Political Economy, Import and Export Regulations, Trade Policy Development Processes, Role of Ministries and Interagency Coordination.
Module 3: International Trade Agreements and Negotiations: Multilateral Trade Agreements and the WTO, Regional and Bilateral Trade Agreements (RTA/FTA), Trade Negotiation Strategies and Tactics, Rules of Origin and Customs Procedures, Dispute Settlement Mechanisms, Legal Aspects of Trade Agreements.
Module 4: Trade and Economic Development: Trade Policy and National Development Goals, Trade and Poverty Alleviation, Industrial Policy and Trade Linkages, Role of SMEs and Informal Sectors, Infrastructure and Trade Facilitation, Gender and Inclusivity in Trade.
Module 5: Trade Policy Analysis and Impact Assessment: Quantitative Tools for Trade Analysis, Trade Data Sources and Interpretation, Ex-Ante and Ex-Post Policy Evaluation, Socioeconomic Impact of Trade Policies, Modeling Trade Scenarios (CGEs, GTAP), Policy Briefing and Recommendation Writing.
Module 6: Emerging Issues in Global Trade Policy: Digital Trade and E-commerce Policy, Trade and Climate Change (Carbon Border Adjustment, CBAM), Supply Chain Resilience and Geopolitics, Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, Trade and Labor/Environmental Standards, Trends in Trade Policy Reform and Governance.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
