Duration: One Month.

Eligibility: 10+2 Grade (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Inventory Control Assistant course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to support efficient inventory management and control processes. The program covers inventory tracking methods, stocktaking procedures, data recording, use of inventory management software, and understanding supply chain basics.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Inventory Management: Overview of inventory control principles, Types of inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), Importance of accurate inventory records, Roles and responsibilities of inventory assistants, Basic inventory terminology, Inventory management objectives.

Module 2: Inventory Tracking and Documentation: Methods of inventory tracking (manual, barcode, RFID), Recording and updating inventory data, Use of inventory management software, Maintaining stock cards and logs, Documentation for stock receipts and issues, Conducting physical inventory counts.

Module 3: Stock Control Techniques: Reorder point and safety stock concepts, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), ABC analysis for inventory categorization, Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory, FIFO and LIFO stock valuation methods, Managing stock obsolescence and expiry.

Module 4: Inventory Storage and Handling: Proper storage practices and layout planning, Handling and movement of stock, Warehouse safety and security, Labeling and identification systems, Environmental controls affecting inventory, Minimizing damage and loss.

Module 5: Inventory Auditing and Reporting: Conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts, Identifying and investigating discrepancies, Inventory reconciliation processes, Preparing inventory reports and summaries, Using key performance indicators (KPIs), Reporting to management and stakeholders.

Module 6: Technology and Best Practices in Inventory Control: Integrating technology in inventory management, Use of ERP and inventory software tools, Automating inventory processes, Best practices for accuracy and efficiency, Compliance with industry standards, Continuous improvement and staff training.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
