The course focuses on the integration of IT risk management with enterprise risk management (ERM), regulatory compliance (such as ISO 31000, COBIT, NIST, and GDPR), cybersecurity practices, and business continuity planning.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to IT Risk Management: Risk management fundamentals, Importance of IT risk in modern enterprises, Types of IT risks (operational, strategic, compliance, reputational), Risk management standards and frameworks (ISO 31000, NIST, COBIT), Role of IT risk manager, IT risk management lifecycle.

Module 2: IT Governance and Regulatory Compliance: IT governance principles (COBIT, ITIL), Key regulations and standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS), Data privacy and protection laws, Aligning IT risk with business strategy, Audit and compliance processes, Role of policies and procedures in risk mitigation.

Module 3: Risk Identification and Assessment: Techniques for identifying IT risks (interviews, checklists, historical data), Asset identification and classification, Threat and vulnerability analysis, Risk assessment methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), Risk appetite and tolerance, Risk register development.

Module 4: Risk Mitigation and Controls: Risk treatment strategies (avoid, accept, mitigate, transfer), Design and implementation of IT controls, Control types (preventive, detective, corrective), Security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF), Business continuity and disaster recovery planning, Third-party/vendor risk management.

Module 5: IT Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and metrics, Continuous monitoring tools and techniques, Incident detection and escalation, Risk communication to stakeholders, Reporting formats and dashboards, Review and update of risk management plans.

Module 6: Emerging Technologies and Future Risk Trends: Risks in cloud computing and virtualization, Cybersecurity and advanced threat landscape, AI and machine learning in risk management, Blockchain and digital asset risks, IoT and mobile device risk exposure, Future skills and career paths in IT risk management.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
