Objective: The Certified Jewellery CAD Designer course is designed to provide learners with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in using specialized CAD software for designing intricate and precise jewelry pieces. The course focuses on developing skills in 3D modeling, rendering, and prototyping of jewelry designs, enabling designers to translate creative concepts into digital formats. It covers design principles, technical drawing, gemstone setting, metalwork simulation, and file preparation for manufacturing processes like 3D printing and CNC machining.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Jewellery CAD Design: Overview of jewellery design principles, History and evolution of jewellery CAD, Introduction to CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, etc.), Types of jewellery and design categories, Basics of gemstones and metals, Industry standards and terminology.
Module 2: CAD Software Fundamentals: User interface and navigation, Basic drawing and sketching tools, 2D and 3D modeling techniques, Creating and editing curves and surfaces, File management and exporting, Understanding layers and groups.
Module 3: Advanced 3D Modelling Techniques: Creating complex shapes and forms, Boolean operations and mesh editing, Surface sculpting and texturing, Parametric modeling for jewellery, Creating settings for stones, Using symmetry and replication tools.
Module 4: Designing Jewellery Components: Designing rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, Incorporating gemstones and settings, Custom engraving and detailing, Creating clasps and fasteners, Dimensioning and tolerances, Preparing designs for manufacturing.
Module 5: Rendering and Visualization: Applying materials and textures, Lighting techniques for realistic renders, Camera setup and perspectives, Creating photorealistic images, Animation basics for jewellery presentation, Exporting renders and client presentations.
Module 6: Prototyping and Production: Understanding 3D printing and rapid prototyping, Preparing files for 3D printing and casting, Working with manufacturers and suppliers, Quality control in CAD designs, Troubleshooting common production issues, Trends in jewellery manufacturing technology.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
