Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer course is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills necessary for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing, and efficient kitchen and bathroom spaces. The course covers the fundamentals of space planning, ergonomics, materials, cabinetry, fixtures, appliances, lighting, and plumbing systems specific to kitchens and baths. It emphasizes understanding client needs, building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design practices.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Kitchen and Bath Design: History and Evolution of Kitchen and Bath Design, Design Principles and Elements, Roles and Responsibilities of a Designer, Overview of the Design Process, Client Consultation and Needs Assessment, Trends and Styles in Kitchen and Bath.

Module 2: Space Planning and Layout: Ergonomics and Human Factors, Work Triangle and Workflow Optimization, Kitchen Zones and Functionality, Bathroom Layouts and Accessibility, Storage Solutions and Organization, Universal Design and ADA Compliance.

Module 3: Materials and Finishes: Countertops and Surface Materials, Cabinetry Types and Construction, Flooring Options and Durability, Wall Finishes and Backsplashes, Fixtures and Hardware, Sustainable and Eco-friendly Materials.

Module 4: Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical Systems: Basic Plumbing Principles and Fixtures, Electrical Requirements and Lighting Design, Ventilation and HVAC Considerations, Water Conservation and Efficiency, Appliance Selection and Integration, Safety Codes and Standards.

Module 5: Design Tools and Presentation: Drawing and Drafting Techniques, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software, 3D Modeling and Rendering, Specification Writing and Documentation, Budgeting and Cost Estimation, Client Presentation and Communication.

Module 6: Professional Practice and Project Management: Project Planning and Scheduling, Working with Contractors and Suppliers, Contracts and Legal Considerations, Marketing and Business Development, Ethics and Professional Standards, Preparation for Certification Exams.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
