Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Lean Thinking: Origin and evolution of Lean, Principles of Lean (value, value stream, flow, pull, perfection), Lean vs. traditional management, Key benefits and challenges of Lean implementation, Role of a Lean Manager, Lean terminology and mindset.

Module 2: Value Stream Mapping and Waste Elimination: Understanding value and waste (Muda, Mura, Muri), Types of waste in processes, Creating and analyzing value stream maps (VSM), Identifying non-value-added activities, Tools for waste elimination (5 Whys, Pareto, Fishbone), Developing future state maps.

Module 3: Lean Tools and Techniques: 5S methodology and workplace organization, Kaizen and continuous improvement, Standard work and work balancing, Kanban and pull systems, Visual management systems, Error-proofing (Poka-Yoke).

Module 4: Process Improvement and Flow Optimization: Takt time and cycle time analysis, Creating flow in operations, Cell design and layout planning, Quick changeover (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Line balancing and bottleneck analysis.

Module 5: Lean Culture and Change Management: Building a Lean culture and mindset, Leadership role in Lean transformation, Engaging and empowering teams, Communication strategies for Lean initiatives, Managing resistance to change, Training and development for Lean practices.

Module 6: Lean Strategy and Performance Measurement: Aligning Lean with business objectives, Lean deployment planning and roadmaps, Lean metrics and KPIs (OEE, Lead Time, Inventory Turns), Lean audits and assessments, Cost reduction through Lean, Sustaining Lean improvements and continuous innovation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
