Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Liner Shipping Coordinator course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage the operational aspects of liner shipping services. The course covers vessel scheduling and routing, cargo booking and documentation, container allocation, space management, and coordination with port authorities and terminal operators. Participants will learn about international shipping regulations, liner service contracts, freight rate management, and customer service.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Liner Shipping and Industry Overview: Overview of liner shipping and its role in global trade, Types of liner services and vessel types, Roles and responsibilities of a Liner Shipping Coordinator, Key stakeholders: shipping lines, agents, freight forwarders, and ports, Regulatory framework and industry conventions (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL), Market trends and competitive landscape.
Module 2: Voyage Planning and Schedule Coordination: Planning liner vessel schedules and rotations, Coordination with ports and terminals, Slot allocation and booking management, Cargo space optimization and container management, Handling delays, cancellations, and disruptions, Communication with customers and stakeholders.
Module 3: Documentation and Compliance: Management of shipping documents: bills of lading, manifests, and booking confirmations, Compliance with customs and regulatory requirements, Dangerous goods and hazardous cargo handling, Security protocols and screening processes, Recordkeeping and audit readiness, Handling claims and disputes.
Module 4: Cargo Booking and Customer Service: Customer inquiry handling and quotation processes, Booking confirmation and amendments, Managing cargo manifests and loading plans, Coordination with freight forwarders and agents, Customer relationship management and service excellence, Problem resolution and complaint handling.
Module 5: Operational Coordination and Performance Monitoring: Coordination with vessel operations, port agents, and ground handling, Monitoring voyage performance and KPIs, Managing intermodal connections and transshipments, Use of liner shipping software and tracking systems, Reporting and documentation of operational issues, Implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Module 6: Technology and Strategic Planning: Digital tools and software in liner shipping management, Data analytics for demand forecasting and capacity planning, Cost control and budgeting in liner operations, Sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance, Risk management and contingency planning, Capstone project: develop a comprehensive liner shipping schedule and operational plan for a regional trade lane.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
