Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Logistics Documentation Specialist course is designed to train professionals in the accurate preparation, handling, and management of critical documents required in domestic and international logistics operations. The course covers various types of documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, letters of credit, shipping instructions, and customs declarations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Logistics Documentation: Role of Documentation in Logistics and Supply Chain, Overview of Logistics Processes and Stakeholders, Types of Goods and Transport Modes, Importance of Accuracy and Compliance, Common Challenges in Documentation, Responsibilities of a Documentation Specialist.

Module 2: Key Shipping and Transport Documents: Bill of Lading (B/L) and Its Variants, Airway Bill (AWB) and Sea Waybill, CMR and Rail Consignment Note, Freight Invoice and Delivery Order, Packing List and Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin and Legalization.

Module 3: Import and Export Documentation: Import Documentation Requirements, Export Documentation Process, Customs Declaration Forms and Procedures, Duties, Taxes, and Exemptions, Role of Customs Brokers, Government and Regulatory Approvals.

Module 4: Compliance, Standards, and Trade Agreements: Incoterms 2020 and Documentation Impact, Trade Agreements and Regional Compliance (FTA, WTO, ASEAN), Sanctions and Restricted Party Screening, HS Code Classification and Tariff Codes, Electronic Documentation and EDI Standards, Auditing and Record-Keeping Requirements.

Module 5: Specialized Documentation for Dangerous and Perishable Goods: Documentation for Hazardous Materials (IMO, DG Declaration), Temperature-Controlled Cargo Documentation, Special Handling Instructions, Insurance Certificates and Inspection Reports, Licenses and Permits for Restricted Goods, Industry-specific Case Studies.

Module 6: Digitalization and Documentation Systems: Digital Freight Platforms and Portals, Transport Management Systems (TMS), Document Automation Tools and Templates, Blockchain and Smart Contracts in Documentation, Cybersecurity and Data Protection in Logistics, Best Practices for Documentation Accuracy and Efficiency.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
