Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Logistics Management: Definition and scope of logistics, Evolution of logistics and its role in supply chain, Key components of logistics systems, Objectives and functions of logistics, Logistics service levels and customer satisfaction, Logistics challenges in global markets.

Module 2: Transportation and Freight Management: Modes of transportation and their characteristics, Freight cost calculation and optimization, Route planning and load scheduling, Carrier selection and freight contracts, International shipping and INCOTERMS, Transportation risk management.

Module 3: Warehousing and Inventory Control: Types and functions of warehouses, Warehouse layout and design principles, Inventory classification and control techniques, Warehouse automation and safety, Stocktaking and reconciliation, Role of WMS in warehouse operations.

Module 4: Logistics Planning and Network Design: Demand forecasting and logistics planning, Strategic and tactical logistics decisions, Network modeling and distribution design, Facility location and capacity planning, Cost-to-serve and total cost analysis, Integration with supply chain strategy.

Module 5: Technology in Logistics: Logistics Information Systems (LIS), Use of ERP, RFID and barcode systems, GPS and fleet tracking technologies, Automation in logistics operations, Artificial Intelligence and IoT in logistics, Cybersecurity and data protection in logistics.

Module 6: Performance Management and Sustainability: Logistics performance metrics and KPIs, Benchmarking and continuous improvement, Sustainable logistics and green practices, Reverse logistics and waste reduction, Regulatory compliance in logistics, Ethics and future trends in logistics management.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
