Objective: The Certified Marketing Collateral Designer course is designed to equip learners with the creative and technical skills needed to design high-impact marketing materials that align with brand identity and communication goals. The course covers the conceptualization, design, and production of a wide range of marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, business cards, social media graphics, email templates, and digital ads.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Marketing Collateral Design: Understanding marketing collateral and its purpose, Types of collateral (brochures, flyers, posters, banners, social media creatives), Branding principles and brand identity guidelines, Target audience and communication strategy, Visual storytelling for marketing impact, Trends and best practices in collateral design.

Module 2: Design Fundamentals for Marketing Materials: Principles of design (contrast, alignment, repetition, proximity), Color psychology and branding through color, Typography selection and hierarchy for marketing, Layout structures and focal points in promotional design, Use of imagery, icons, and illustrations, Creating a cohesive design language across formats.

Module 3: Designing Print-Based Collateral: Creating brochures (bi-fold, tri-fold, z-fold), Designing business cards, letterheads, and envelopes, Poster and banner design for offline campaigns, Flyer and handout design techniques, Print specifications (bleed, margins, resolution, color modes), Preparing and exporting files for high-quality printing.

Module 4: Designing Digital Marketing Collateral: Creating social media graphics (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), Designing email newsletters and web banners, Animated promotional content (GIFs and motion graphics basics), Ad creatives for digital campaigns (Google ads, display ads), Responsive design considerations for devices, Exporting optimized assets for digital use.

Module 5: Tools, Software, and Branding Assets: Working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Using templates, grids, and smart objects, Managing brand assets (logos, colors, fonts), Setting up design systems and style guides, Version control and collaboration tools, File management and naming conventions for clients.

Module 6: Real-World Projects and Portfolio Development: Designing a complete marketing campaign (print + digital), Case studies of effective marketing collateral, Client briefs and mock-up presentations, Revisions, feedback incorporation, and quality check, Finalizing deliverables for print and web, Portfolio development with marketing design focus.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
