Objective: The Certified Medical Assistant course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills required to perform both administrative and clinical tasks in healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. The course covers medical office procedures, patient scheduling, electronic health records (EHR) management, medical terminology, vital signs measurement, laboratory procedures, medication administration, clinical documentation, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Medical Assisting: Overview of Medical Assisting, Role and Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant, Key Terminology and Concepts, Healthcare Team Dynamics, Ethical and Legal Considerations, Professionalism and Workplace Conduct

Module 2: Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology: Human Body Systems Overview, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Systems, Musculoskeletal and Nervous Systems, Digestive and Endocrine Systems, Basic Medical Terminology, Application of Anatomy and Physiology in Clinical Practice

Module 3: Clinical Procedures and Patient Care: Patient Intake and Vital Signs Measurement, Administering Injections and Vaccinations, Assisting with Physical Examinations, Sterilization and Infection Control, Wound Care and Dressing Changes, Patient Education and Communication

Module 4: Laboratory Procedures and Diagnostics: Collection of Specimens (Blood, Urine, etc.), Performing Basic Laboratory Tests, Understanding Diagnostic Procedures, Operating Laboratory Equipment, Safety and Quality Control in Labs, Documentation of Laboratory Results

Module 5: Administrative and Office Management: Medical Record Management and Documentation, Scheduling and Patient Flow Coordination, Billing and Coding Basics, Electronic Health Records (EHR) Management, Insurance and Reimbursement Procedures, Communication with Patients and Healthcare Providers

Module 6: Professional Practice and Career Development: Ethical Standards and Confidentiality (HIPAA), Interpersonal Skills and Teamwork, Time Management and Organization, Handling Emergency Situations, Continuing Education and Certification Maintenance, Career Advancement Opportunities

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
