The program focuses on laboratory quality management systems, standard operating procedures, regulatory standards (such as ISO 15189), and laboratory safety protocols.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Medical Laboratory Quality Assurance: Overview of medical laboratory operations, Roles and responsibilities of a quality assurance officer, Importance of quality assurance in diagnostics, Laboratory standards and regulatory framework, Ethical and professional standards, Key concepts in laboratory safety and risk management

Module 2: Laboratory Management and Organization: Laboratory workflow and process management, Staff roles, training, and competency, Equipment management and calibration, Inventory and supply management, Record keeping and documentation, Operational policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Module 3: Quality Control and Assurance Principles: Introduction to quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA), Internal and external QC procedures, Validation and verification of laboratory tests, Accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results, Monitoring laboratory performance, Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Module 4: Laboratory Safety and Risk Management: Biosafety levels and protocols, Handling infectious and hazardous materials, Personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, Waste segregation and disposal, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies, Emergency preparedness and incident reporting

Module 5: Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation: Compliance with national and international laboratory standards (ISO 15189, NABL, CAP), Accreditation processes and requirements, Audit preparation and documentation, Maintaining compliance with laboratory policies, Managing regulatory inspections, Continuous monitoring and corrective actions

Module 6: Data Management, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement: Laboratory information systems (LIS) and data management, Recording and reporting test results accurately, Data analysis for quality improvement, Key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring, Implementing continuous quality improvement programs, Professional development and staying updated with industry standards

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
