Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Mehndi Artist / Henna Designer course aims to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge necessary to become proficient henna artists. The course focuses on understanding the cultural significance and history of mehndi, mastering various traditional and modern design techniques, and developing the ability to create intricate and aesthetically pleasing henna patterns. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Mehndi Art: History of Mehndi, Types of Henna and Ingredients, Importance of Henna in Culture, Henna Safety and Allergies, Tools and Materials Used, Basic Henna Preparation Techniques.

Module 2: Henna Paste Preparation and Application Techniques: Selecting Quality Henna Powder, Making Henna Paste Consistency, Storing Henna Paste, Cone Making and Usage, Freehand Application Basics, Stencils and Practice Drills.

Module 3: Basic Mehndi Designs: Simple Floral Patterns, Geometric Shapes, Traditional Indian Motifs, Arabic Mehndi Style Basics, Beginner’s Paisley Designs, Shading and Detailing Techniques.

Module 4: Advanced Mehndi Designs and Styles: Intricate Indian Bridal Designs, Arabic and Moroccan Styles, Fusion and Contemporary Designs, Mandala Patterns, Filling and Shading for Depth, Creating Symmetry and Balance.

Module 5: Professional Practice and Client Handling: Sanitation and Hygiene Standards, Client Consultation and Design Customization, Time Management During Application, Pricing and Packaging, Photography and Portfolio Building, Handling Client Feedback and Reapplications.

Module 6: Business Skills and Certification Preparation: Marketing and Social Media Strategies, Setting Up a Home or Studio Business, Legal Requirements and Licensing, Product Recommendations and Reselling, Preparing for Certification Exam, Final Practical and Theory Assessment.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
