It focuses on understanding financial inclusion, designing and managing microfinance products such as savings, credit, and insurance, and assessing the creditworthiness of rural clients.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Microfinance and Rural Banking: Concept of microfinance, History and evolution of rural banking, Role of microfinance in poverty alleviation, Types of microfinance institutions, Financial inclusion and rural development, Principles of microfinance lending

Module 2: Financial Products and Services: Savings products for rural clients, Microloans and credit schemes, Insurance products in rural areas, Remittance and payment services, Microleasing and micro-enterprise support, Pension and social security schemes for rural clients

Module 3: Credit Appraisal and Risk Management: Basics of credit appraisal, Loan eligibility assessment, Collateral management and alternatives, Risk identification and mitigation, Portfolio monitoring and recovery, Managing non-performing assets in microfinance

Module 4: Microfinance Operations and Technology: Field operations and client interaction, Group lending and joint liability groups, Record keeping and reporting, Use of technology in rural banking, Mobile banking and digital finance, Operational efficiency and process improvement

Module 5: Legal, Regulatory and Governance Framework: Regulatory environment for microfinance, RBI guidelines for rural banking, Microfinance institution licensing and compliance, Consumer protection and ethical practices, Governance and internal control systems, Anti-money laundering and fraud prevention

Module 6: Social Development, Impact Assessment and Capacity Building: Social performance measurement, Impact assessment of microfinance programs, Financial literacy and client education, Capacity building of staff and field officers, Gender and inclusive finance, Community development and sustainable livelihoods
