Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Miniature Painting Artist course aims to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge necessary to master the art of miniature painting. This includes understanding various painting techniques, mastering fine brush control, color theory application, and surface preparation. The course focuses on developing precision, attention to detail, and creativity required to produce high-quality miniature artworks. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Miniature Painting: History of miniature painting, Different styles and traditions (Persian, Indian, European), Materials and tools overview, Understanding scale and proportions, Basic sketching techniques, Color theory fundamentals

Module 2: Drawing and Composition: Line work and precision drawing, Creating detailed outlines, Composition principles for miniatures, Use of negative space, Designing focal points, Preparing the canvas or paper

Module 3: Materials and Techniques: Types of brushes and their uses, Paint mediums (watercolor, gouache, acrylic), Surface preparation (vellum, paper, ivory alternatives), Layering and glazing techniques, Mixing and matching colors, Controlling brush strokes for detail

Module 4: Painting the Miniature: Skin tones and textures, Rendering fabrics and patterns, Depicting jewelry and accessories, Creating depth with shading and highlights, Painting facial features and expressions, Backgrounds and environmental elements

Module 5: Advanced Detailing and Finishing: Gold leaf application and embellishments, Fine line work with pen and ink, Adding texture and patterns, Correcting mistakes and refinements, Varnishing and protective coatings, Presentation and framing techniques

Module 6: Professional Practices and Portfolio Development: Building a miniature painting portfolio, Photographing artwork professionally, Pricing and marketing artwork, Handling commissions and client communications, Participating in exhibitions and competitions, Continuing education and skill advancement

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
