The course emphasizes the development of children aged 2 to 6 years through hands-on learning, self-directed activity, and collaborative play in a thoughtfully prepared environment.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Montessori Philosophy and Method: History and principles of Montessori education, Role of the Montessori teacher, The absorbent mind and sensitive periods, Importance of a prepared environment, Difference between traditional and Montessori methods, Observation as a teaching tool.

Module 2: Practical Life Exercises: Purpose and importance of practical life activities, Exercises in care of self and environment, Grace and courtesy activities, Fine motor skill development, Sequencing and independence-building tasks, Role of repetition and concentration.

Module 3: Sensorial Development: Purpose of sensorial materials, Introduction to the five senses, Materials for visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory, and gustatory senses, Grading and matching exercises, Language development through sensorial experiences, Enhancing perception and discrimination.

Module 4: Language and Literacy Development: Phonetic approach to reading and writing, Sandpaper letters and movable alphabet, Vocabulary building and storytelling, Reading classification cards and object boxes, Grammar symbols and sentence construction, Guided reading and early writing.

Module 5: Montessori Mathematics: Introduction to numbers and quantities, Number rods, spindle boxes, and sandpaper numbers, Decimal system and golden bead materials, Introduction to operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), Fractions and geometric figures, Math games and reinforcement activities.

Module 6: Cultural Subjects and Classroom Management: Introduction to geography, history, science, and nature, Puzzle maps and globes, Life cycle and plant/animal studies, Classroom organization and daily routines, Parent communication and reporting, Record-keeping and progress observation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
