Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Motion Designer course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to create dynamic and engaging motion graphics for digital media, advertising, film, and animation. The course covers principles of motion design, animation techniques, storytelling through motion, 2D and 3D animation software, typography, visual effects, compositing, and workflow integration.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Motion Design: Introduction to motion design, Principles of animation and motion graphics, Understanding timing and spacing, Key elements of visual storytelling, Color theory and composition for motion, Case studies of notable motion design projects

Module 2: 2D Motion Graphics and Animation: Vector-based animation techniques, Character animation basics, Typography and kinetic text design, Shape and form animation, Storyboarding for motion graphics, Animation principles applied in 2D design

Module 3: 3D Motion Design and Animation: Introduction to 3D modeling and animation, 3D motion graphics workflow, Camera and lighting in 3D space, 3D text and object animation, Integrating 3D elements with 2D compositions, Rendering techniques and best practices

Module 4: Visual Effects and Compositing: Introduction to VFX in motion design, Compositing techniques (After Effects, Nuke), Particle systems and simulations, Masking and rotoscoping, Motion tracking and stabilization, Integration of visual effects into motion projects

Module 5: Software, Tools, and Workflow: Overview of industry-standard software (After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender), Workflow optimization and project organization, Asset management and version control, Export settings and media formats, Plugins and third-party tools, Troubleshooting common motion design issues

Module 6: Professional Practice and Portfolio Development: Building a professional motion design portfolio, Presenting motion projects to clients and stakeholders, Collaboration with creative teams, Project management and deadlines, Industry best practices and trends, Continuous learning and skill development

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
