Objective: The Certified Multilingual Education Support Specialist course is designed to equip educators and support staff with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to effectively support multilingual learners in diverse educational settings. The course covers language acquisition theories, bilingual and multilingual instructional strategies, cultural responsiveness, assessment practices, and program models such as dual language, immersion, and ESL.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Multilingual Education: Concepts and definitions of multilingual education, Theories of second language acquisition, Benefits and challenges of multilingualism, Language policies and rights in education, Models of multilingual education (transitional, maintenance, dual immersion), Sociocultural factors affecting multilingual learners.
Module 2: Linguistic and Cultural Diversity in Schools: Understanding language diversity in the classroom, Cultural competence and sensitivity, Identifying and supporting heritage and minority languages, Strategies to build inclusive learning environments, Addressing language bias and discrimination, Engaging families and communities in multilingual education.
Module 3: Instructional Strategies for Multilingual Learners: Differentiated instruction techniques, Scaffolding language development across content areas, Use of visual aids, technology, and multimedia, Collaborative learning and peer support strategies, Supporting literacy and biliteracy development, Assessment accommodations for multilingual students.
Module 4: Language Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Types of language proficiency assessments, Designing formative and summative assessments for multilingual learners, Interpreting assessment data to inform instruction, Using progress monitoring tools effectively, Addressing assessment challenges and biases, Reporting and communicating learner progress.
Module 5: Program Development and Implementation: Planning and designing multilingual education programs, Curriculum adaptation and resource development, Training educators and staff on multilingual strategies, Creating policies for language inclusion and support, Evaluating program effectiveness, Advocacy for multilingual education within institutions.
Module 6: Leadership and Collaboration in Multilingual Education: Building partnerships with families, communities, and stakeholders, Leading professional development and capacity building, Navigating policy and legal frameworks, Promoting equity and access in multilingual education, Integrating technology and innovative practices, Global trends and future directions in multilingual education.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
