The course covers multimodal logistics planning, intermodal facility operations, carrier selection, cargo transfer coordination, containerization, and integrated transport documentation. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Multimodal Transportation: Definition and Scope of Multimodal Transportation, Difference Between Intermodal and Multimodal Transport, Benefits and Challenges of Multimodal Logistics, Key Players in Multimodal Transport Operations, Role and Responsibilities of a Multimodal Transportation Specialist, Importance in Global Supply Chains.

Module 2: Modes of Transport and Integration: Overview of Road, Rail, Sea, Air, and Inland Waterways, Mode Selection Criteria Based on Cargo and Route, Interconnectivity and Transfer Points, Handling Procedures at Intermodal Terminals, Coordinating Modal Transitions and Reducing Dwell Time, Case Studies of Mode Combinations.

Module 3: Documentation and Legal Framework: Multimodal Transport Document (MTD/CTD/FBL), Contract of Carriage and Terms of Service, International Conventions (CMR, Rotterdam Rules, Montreal Convention), Responsibilities and Liabilities of Operators, Customs Procedures Across Modes, Insurance and Claims Management.

Module 4: Planning, Coordination and Scheduling: Route Planning and Transit Time Calculation, Freight Booking and Scheduling Across Modes, Load Planning and Consolidation Strategies, Equipment Compatibility and Containerization, Real-Time Coordination and Communication Tools, Use of IT Systems for Seamless Operations.

Module 5: Risk Management and Compliance: Identification of Multimodal Transport Risks, Regulatory Compliance Across Jurisdictions, Hazardous and Perishable Cargo Handling, Security Measures at Modal Interfaces, Emergency Response and Incident Management, Environmental and Sustainability Standards.

Module 6: Technology and Future Trends in Multimodal Logistics: Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Multimodal Platforms, IoT, Blockchain and AI Applications in Logistics, Real-Time Cargo Tracking and Visibility, Data-Driven Decision Making in Route and Mode Selection, Green Logistics and Carbon Reduction Strategies, Innovations in Digital Multimodal Corridors.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
