Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified .NET Developer course is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to develop robust, scalable, and secure applications using the Microsoft .NET platform. The course covers the full development lifecycle using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+, including object-oriented programming (OOP), web development with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core, desktop application development with Windows Forms or WPF, and API development using Web API. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to .NET Platform and C# Programming: Overview of .NET architecture and components, Setting up the .NET development environment (Visual Studio), Introduction to C# syntax and data types, Object-oriented programming in C#, Control structures and error handling, Debugging and compiling .NET applications.

Module 2: Working with .NET Core and .NET 6/7: Differences between .NET Framework, .NET Core and .NET 6/7, Creating console and class library projects, Dependency injection and service lifetimes, Configuration and environment handling, Logging and diagnostics in .NET apps, Building cross-platform .NET applications.

Module 3: Web Development with ASP.NET Core: Introduction to ASP.NET Core MVC and Razor Pages, Routing and middleware pipeline, Handling forms and model binding, Data validation and error handling, Building RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API, Authentication and authorization in web apps.

Module 4: Data Access and Entity Framework Core: Introduction to Entity Framework Core (EF Core), Creating and managing database models, Code-first vs database-first approaches, Performing CRUD operations using LINQ, Migrations and data seeding, Working with SQL Server and other databases.

Module 5: Front-End Integration and Web Services: Consuming REST APIs in .NET applications, Using HttpClient and asynchronous calls, Integrating front-end frameworks (React, Angular) with .NET, Working with JSON and XML data formats, WebSockets and real-time communication with SignalR, Uploading files and handling large data.

Module 6: Testing, Deployment and Maintenance: Unit testing with xUnit and MSTest, Mocking and test-driven development (TDD), Building and publishing .NET applications, Deploying apps on IIS, Azure, or Docker, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, Monitoring, logging, and maintaining .NET applications.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
