Objective: The Certified Neurodiversity Inclusion Specialist course is designed to equip educators, administrators, and support professionals with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to create inclusive environments that recognize, value, and support neurodiverse individuals. The course covers the principles of neurodiversity, common neurodivergent conditions (such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia), strengths-based approaches, and legal and ethical considerations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Understanding Neurodiversity: Definition and principles of neurodiversity, Common neurodivergent conditions (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.), Historical and social perspectives on neurodiversity, Debunking myths and stereotypes, The neurodiversity paradigm vs. medical model, Importance of acceptance and celebration of differences.

Module 2: Legal and Ethical Frameworks: Laws and policies supporting neurodiversity inclusion, Rights of neurodivergent individuals in education and workplace, Ethical considerations and confidentiality, Advocacy and self-advocacy principles, Universal design and accessibility standards, Addressing discrimination and bias.

Module 3: Assessment and Individualized Support: Identifying strengths and challenges of neurodivergent individuals, Conducting needs assessments and environmental audits, Developing individualized support plans, Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, Using assistive technology and accommodations, Monitoring and reviewing support effectiveness.

Module 4: Inclusive Teaching and Workplace Practices: Culturally responsive and flexible instructional strategies, Creating sensory-friendly environments, Supporting executive functioning and communication, Promoting social-emotional well-being, Strategies for positive behavior support, Building neurodiversity-affirming cultures.

Module 5: Family, Peer, and Community Engagement: Partnering with families and caregivers, Educating peers and fostering inclusive relationships, Community resources and support networks, Facilitating workshops and awareness campaigns, Building supportive networks and allies, Encouraging neurodivergent leadership and participation.

Module 6: Leadership and Organizational Change: Leading neurodiversity inclusion initiatives, Developing policies and inclusive practices, Training and capacity building for staff, Evaluating inclusion outcomes and impact, Overcoming systemic barriers, Sustaining a culture of neurodiversity acceptance and growth.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
