Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Nursing Home Manager (CNHM) course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage nursing home operations. The course covers leadership, administration, regulatory compliance, financial management, human resource management, quality assurance, and patient care coordination in long-term care facilities.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Nursing Home Management: Overview of nursing home operations, Roles and responsibilities of a nursing home manager, Types of nursing homes and care facilities, Regulatory and legal framework, Importance of quality care and resident satisfaction, Ethical and professional standards in elderly care

Module 2: Resident Care and Support Services: Assessment of resident needs and care planning, Activities of daily living (ADL) support, Medication management and administration, Nutritional planning and meal services, Psychological and social support for residents, End-of-life care and palliative services

Module 3: Human Resource and Staff Management: Staff recruitment, training, and development, Performance evaluation and appraisal systems, Workforce scheduling and allocation, Workplace safety and infection control, Team building and leadership in healthcare, Conflict resolution and staff motivation

Module 4: Facility Operations and Maintenance: Maintenance of nursing home infrastructure, Cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene management, Safety and emergency preparedness, Equipment and medical device management, Environmental sustainability practices, Compliance with health and safety regulations

Module 5: Financial and Administrative Management: Budgeting and financial planning, Billing and reimbursement processes, Record keeping and documentation, Procurement and inventory management, Cost control and resource optimization, Reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Module 6: Quality Management and Technology in Nursing Homes: Quality assurance and continuous improvement, Monitoring resident satisfaction and care outcomes, Accreditation and compliance standards, Implementation of healthcare management software, Risk management and incident reporting, Data analysis and performance evaluation

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
