Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Ocean/Marine Cargo Handler course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to handle cargo in marine and ocean freight operations safely and efficiently. Participants learn about container handling, cargo stowage, loading and unloading procedures, vessel operations, documentation, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Cargo Receiving & Inspection: Procedures for receiving cargo at port terminals, Inspection and verification of cargo, Handling damaged or non-compliant shipments, Documentation checks during cargo receipt, Coordination with shipping agents and terminal staff, Reporting discrepancies and damages,

Module 3: Loading & Unloading Operations: Use of cranes, forklifts, and other cargo handling equipment, Securing cargo for stability and safety, Loading/unloading containerized and bulk cargo, Weight distribution and balance considerations, Safety protocols during operations, Monitoring and reporting operational issues,

Module 4: Storage & Yard Management: Proper storage techniques for different types of cargo, Container stacking and warehouse organization, Monitoring cargo condition during storage, Inventory management and record-keeping, Use of yard management systems (YMS), Compliance with storage safety standards,

Module 5: Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Shipping documents (bill of lading, delivery orders, manifests), Import/export permits and licenses, Customs and port authority compliance, Documentation verification and filing, Handling hazardous and sensitive cargo paperwork, Coordination with regulatory authorities,

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
