Objective: The Certified Office Cybersecurity Awareness Officer course is designed to train professionals to promote cybersecurity best practices and support organizational efforts in safeguarding digital assets and information systems. The course covers key topics including cyber threats and vulnerabilities, phishing awareness, password management, secure device usage, safe internet practices, email security, and data protection policies.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Office Cybersecurity: Definition and Importance of Cybersecurity, Common Cyber Threats in Office Environments, Key Cybersecurity Terms and Concepts, Roles and Responsibilities of a Cybersecurity Awareness Officer, Overview of Security Policies and Frameworks, Understanding Human Factor in Cybersecurity.

Module 2: Identifying and Preventing Cyber Threats: Phishing and Social Engineering Attacks, Malware and Ransomware Awareness, Recognizing Suspicious Emails and Links, Safe Browsing and Downloading Practices, Secure Use of External Devices (USBs, Drives), Reporting Security Incidents.

Module 3: Secure Use of Office Technology: Creating and Managing Strong Passwords, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Basics, Secure Use of Office Networks and Wi-Fi, Data Encryption and Secure File Sharing, Device and Endpoint Security Best Practices, Managing Access to Sensitive Information.

Module 4: Cybersecurity Policies and Compliance: Understanding Organizational IT Policies, Data Protection Regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), Acceptable Use Policies, Confidentiality and Data Classification, Compliance with Security Standards, Policy Communication and Enforcement.

Module 5: Training and Awareness Programs: Planning Cybersecurity Awareness Campaigns, Designing Training Content for Staff, Conducting Workshops and Briefings, Evaluating Training Effectiveness, Encouraging Safe Cyber Behavior, Keeping Employees Engaged and Informed.

Module 6: Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement: Monitoring User Behavior and Security Incidents, Incident Documentation and Escalation, Analyzing Trends and Gaps, Coordinating with IT and Security Teams, Updating Training and Policies Regularly, Staying Informed on Emerging Threats.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
