Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Pharma Logistics Specialist course is designed to provide participants with industry-specific expertise in handling logistics operations for pharmaceutical products. The course covers critical topics such as cold chain management, temperature-sensitive transportation, warehousing under Good Storage Practices (GSP), packaging requirements, pharmaceutical regulatory compliance (including WHO GDP, FDA, and EMA guidelines), and controlled substance logistics.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical Logistics and Supply Chain: Overview of pharmaceutical logistics and its critical role in patient safety, Structure of the pharma supply chain: manufacturers, distributors, pharmacies, Key regulations and guidelines: GDP, WHO, FDA, CDSCO, EMA, Classification of pharmaceutical products and their logistical requirements, Common challenges in pharma logistics: theft, counterfeiting, cold chain failures, Role and responsibilities of a Certified Pharma Logistics Specialist.

Module 2: Procurement and Inbound Logistics in Pharma: Strategic sourcing of raw materials and finished pharmaceutical goods, Supplier qualification, vendor audits, and regulatory compliance checks, Inbound logistics planning for APIs, excipients, and packaging materials, Documentation and import regulations for pharmaceutical products, Quality control and quarantine management at receiving stage, Coordination with QA, procurement, and production teams.

Module 3: Pharmaceutical Warehousing and Inventory Management: Design of GDP-compliant pharmaceutical warehouses and storage areas, Environmental control systems: temperature, humidity, air filtration, Inventory tracking methods: batch/lot control, FEFO, barcoding, Handling and storage of controlled substances and high-value items, Inspection, sanitation, pest control, and facility hygiene practices, Software systems: WMS, ERP, RFID-based tracking in pharma inventory.

Module 4: Cold Chain and Temperature-Sensitive Pharma Logistics: Introduction to cold chain logistics: vaccines, biologics, insulin, Packaging standards: validated thermal shippers, phase change materials (PCMs), Temperature monitoring devices: data loggers, sensors, real-time alerts, Risk management in cold chain: excursions, product integrity, recalls, Transportation protocols for ultra-cold and refrigerated products, Case studies: cold chain implementation in COVID-19 vaccine delivery.

Module 5: Pharmaceutical Transportation and Distribution Systems: Mode selection: air, road, sea, and multi-modal transport in pharma logistics, Carrier qualification, temperature-mapped vehicles, and driver training, Route planning, risk assessment, and transit time optimization, Regulatory and customs compliance in domestic and international shipping, Documentation: shipping instructions, MSDS, CoA, invoices, Packing, labeling, and security protocols for pharma distribution.

Module 6: Compliance, Risk Management, and Digital Transformation: GDP compliance and audits: checklists, gap analysis, CAPA processes, Risk management strategies: theft, spoilage, diversion, regulatory penalties, Recalls, returns, and reverse logistics in pharmaceutical supply chains, Blockchain, IoT, and AI in enhancing transparency and security, KPI tracking and continuous improvement in pharma logistics, Capstone project: develop a compliant logistics plan for a pharmaceutical company.
