Objective: The Certified Pipeline Transport Manager course is designed to equip professionals with the technical, regulatory, and operational knowledge required to manage the transportation of liquids and gases through pipelines efficiently and safely. The course covers pipeline system design and operations, flow dynamics, material selection, maintenance planning, corrosion control, leak detection technologies, and emergency response procedures. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Pipeline Transport Systems: Overview of Pipeline Transport in Logistics and Energy Sectors, Types of Pipelines (Oil, Gas, Water, Slurry), Components and Design of Pipeline Systems, Advantages and Limitations of Pipeline Transport, Role and Responsibilities of a Pipeline Transport Manager, Key Stakeholders in Pipeline Operations.

Module 2: Pipeline Construction and Infrastructure: Pipeline Route Planning and Surveying, Materials and Equipment Used in Pipeline Construction, Construction Methods and Phases, Right of Way (ROW) and Land Acquisition, Environmental and Regulatory Compliance, Commissioning and System Integration.

Module 3: Operations and Flow Management: Flow Dynamics and Pressure Management in Pipelines, SCADA Systems and Remote Monitoring, Pumping Stations and Compressor Operations, Leak Detection Systems and Control Valves, Routine Inspection and Maintenance Scheduling, Emergency Shutdown Procedures.

Module 4: Safety, Risk, and Environmental Management: Pipeline Safety Regulations and Best Practices, Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification (HAZOP), Environmental Impact and Mitigation Measures, Spill Response and Emergency Preparedness, Corrosion Control and Pipeline Integrity Management, Worker Health and Safety Protocols.

Module 5: Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: International and National Pipeline Regulations (API, ASME, PNGRB), Licensing and Permitting Requirements, Inspection, Testing, and Certification Standards, Record-Keeping and Documentation Protocols, Legal Liabilities and Insurance Coverage, Auditing and Regulatory Reporting.

Module 6: Technology, Innovation, and Asset Management: Use of GIS and Smart Technologies in Pipeline Monitoring, Automation and IoT in Pipeline Control, Asset Lifecycle Management and Cost Optimization, Predictive Maintenance and Data Analytics, Sustainability and Carbon Reduction Strategies, Future Trends in Pipeline Transport Systems.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
