Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Plumber (Construction Site) course is designed to equip professionals with the technical skills and practical knowledge required to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on construction sites. Participants will learn about water supply systems, drainage systems, pipe fitting, fixtures installation, welding and jointing techniques, and compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Plumbing in Construction: Role and responsibilities of a construction site plumber, Overview of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, Key plumbing materials and tools, Plumbing codes and standards, Safety and environmental considerations, Trends and innovations in plumbing technology

Module 2: Plumbing Materials and Tools: Types of pipes and fittings (PVC, CPVC, PEX, metal), Valves, faucets, and fixtures, Selection and use of plumbing tools, Storage and handling of materials, Identification of quality standards, Maintenance of tools and equipment

Module 3: Installation of Plumbing Systems: Water supply system installation, Drainage and sewage system installation, Gas piping installation, Hot and cold water system setup, Backflow prevention and water treatment systems, Pipe joining and sealing techniques

Module 4: Testing, Commissioning, and Troubleshooting: Pressure testing of water and gas pipelines, Leak detection and repair, Functional testing of plumbing fixtures and systems, Troubleshooting common plumbing problems, Documentation of installation and test results, Ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards

Module 5: Maintenance and Safety Practices: Preventive maintenance of plumbing systems, Cleaning and servicing of pipes, fixtures, and pumps, Safety protocols during plumbing work, Emergency response procedures, Environmental considerations and water conservation, Compliance with health and safety regulations

Module 6: Professional Development and Communication: Teamwork and coordination on construction sites, Communication with supervisors, clients, and contractors, Problem-solving and decision-making, Ethical practices and professional responsibility, Skill enhancement and certification pathways, Career growth and specialization opportunities

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
