The course covers political messaging, media relations, speech writing, debate preparation, crisis communication, social media strategy, and public opinion analysis. Learners will gain hands-on experience in creating persuasive campaign content, managing press interactions, leveraging data-driven targeting, and using digital tools like social listening platforms, campaign CRMs, and political ad managers.Β

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Political Messaging and Strategic Narrative Building: Crafting political messages for speeches, debates, press releases, and campaigns, Framing techniques and emotional appeals in political narratives, Constructing slogans, taglines, manifestos, and vision statements, Audience segmentation: rural, urban, youth, minority, and issue-based voters, Counter-messaging and narrative defense during opposition attacks, Cultural sensitivity and region-specific messaging adaptation.

Module 3: Media Management and Public Relations in Politics: Building relationships with political journalists, editors, and newsrooms, Planning press conferences, interviews, public statements, and media outreach, Writing media kits, political bios, FAQs, and briefings, Managing 24/7 news cycles, live coverage, and breaking news responses, Creating positive media visibility and handling negative press, Leveraging print, radio, TV, and digital news channels strategically.

Module 4: Digital Media Strategy and Online Campaigns: Social media platforms for political outreach: Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Running issue-based and candidate-driven digital campaigns, Creating digital assets: videos, infographics, memes, reels, and explainers, Managing live sessions, polls, hashtags, and trend hijacking, Online reputation management, troll handling, and digital crisis response, Tools for analytics, engagement tracking, and voter sentiment monitoring.

Module 5: Campaign Communication and Voter Engagement: Designing communication for election campaigns: phases, timing, and messaging flow, Speech writing, rally planning, and ground-level communication materials, Door-to-door canvassing scripts, IVRS, and call center communication, Engaging with influencers, volunteers, and grassroots mobilizers, Communicating party positions on policy issues effectively, Integrating traditional outreach (radio, leaflets, public meetings) with digital efforts.

Module 6: Crisis Communication, Ethics, and Career Building: Handling scandals, misinformation, fake news, and sudden controversies, Preparing contingency plans and rapid-response communication teams, Legal and ethical frameworks in political communication (ECI codes, platform policies), Case studies of successful and failed political communication strategies, Building a portfolio with mock campaign plans, speeches, and digital assets, Career roles in political PR firms, election consultancies, media cells, and think tanks.
