The program aims to develop advanced skills in asset allocation, diversification, and performance evaluation to optimize investment returns while minimizing risk. Participants will learn to assess market trends, evaluate financial instruments, and apply portfolio management theories and strategies in real-world scenarios.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Portfolio Management: Concept and objectives of portfolio management, Investment environment and financial markets overview, Role and responsibilities of a portfolio manager, Types of portfolios and investment styles, Portfolio management process and strategies, Ethical and regulatory framework in portfolio management

Module 2: Investment Analysis and Valuation: Fundamental analysis and financial statement interpretation, Economic and industry analysis techniques, Equity valuation models (DCF, Dividend, P/E), Fixed income valuation and yield measures, Technical analysis and charting tools, Behavioral finance and investor psychology

Module 3: Portfolio Construction and Optimization: Asset allocation strategies and diversification principles, Risk-return trade-off and efficient frontier, Modern Portfolio Theory and CAPM, Portfolio optimization techniques, Strategic vs. tactical asset allocation, Multi-asset and global portfolio construction approaches

Module 4: Risk Management and Performance Measurement: Types of investment risks and risk quantification, Value at Risk (VaR) and stress testing, Hedging strategies using derivatives, Performance evaluation metrics (Sharpe, Treynor, Jensen), Attribution analysis and benchmarking, Risk-adjusted performance measurement techniques

Module 5: Portfolio Strategies and Instruments: Active vs. passive portfolio management strategies, Equity, debt, and alternative investment portfolios, Derivative instruments in portfolio management, Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and index funds, Hedge fund and private equity portfolio strategies, Sustainable and ESG investing practices

Module 6: Portfolio Review, Reporting, and Compliance: Portfolio monitoring and rebalancing techniques, Performance reporting and client communication, Investment policy statement (IPS) development, Regulatory compliance and fiduciary duties, Global investment standards and GIPS compliance, Case studies on professional portfolio management practices

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
