Objective: The Certified Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) Implementation Specialist course is designed to prepare education professionals to lead, implement, and sustain effective PBIS frameworks within schools and learning environments. The course covers the foundational principles of PBIS, tiered intervention models (Tier 1, 2, and 3), behavior data systems, school-wide discipline strategies, functional behavior assessments (FBA), and team-based planning.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Foundations of PBIS: Definition and core principles of PBIS, Historical background and evolution of PBIS, Importance of school-wide positive behavior support, Tiered intervention framework (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3), Relationship between PBIS and student outcomes, Alignment of PBIS with inclusive education and equity.
Module 2: Building a PBIS Team and Infrastructure: Identifying roles and responsibilities of the PBIS team, Securing leadership and stakeholder buy-in, Establishing school-wide expectations and behavioral matrices, Creating a data-driven decision-making structure, Developing communication and feedback channels, Planning for long-term sustainability.
Module 3: Tier 1 – Universal Prevention Strategies: Teaching school-wide behavioral expectations, Reinforcement systems and positive acknowledgments, Implementing classroom-based PBIS strategies, Consistent routines and consequences, Building staff consistency and fidelity, Monitoring implementation of Tier 1 supports.
Module 4: Tier 2 and Tier 3 Interventions: Identifying students in need of targeted interventions, Designing check-in/check-out systems and small group support, Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) process, Developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), Collaborating with specialists and families, Progress monitoring and documentation.
Module 5: Data Collection and Evaluation: Selecting tools and systems for behavior data collection, Analyzing office discipline referrals and incident trends, Using data to guide instruction and intervention, Conducting fidelity checks and implementation reviews, Setting goals and benchmarks for PBIS success, Reporting outcomes to stakeholders.
Module 6: Sustaining and Scaling PBIS Implementation: Ongoing training and professional development for staff, Embedding PBIS in school policies and culture, Engaging students, families, and communities, Addressing equity and cultural responsiveness in PBIS, Adapting PBIS for different educational settings, Innovations and global perspectives in behavior support.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
