Objective: The Certified Post-Natal Yoga Trainer course is designed to equip yoga professionals with the specialized knowledge and skills required to support new mothers in their postpartum recovery through safe and nurturing yoga practices. The course covers physical, emotional, and hormonal changes after childbirth, with a focus on rebuilding core strength, pelvic floor recovery, relieving back and shoulder tension, and promoting emotional balance.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Post-Natal Yoga: Introduction to Post-Natal Yoga, Understanding postpartum physiology, Psychological aspects of postpartum period, Scope and benefits of post-natal yoga, Safety guidelines and contraindications, Role of a certified trainer.

Module 2: Anatomy & Physiology for Post-Natal Care: Changes in female body post-delivery, Pelvic floor anatomy and rehabilitation, Core muscles and abdominal healing, Hormonal influence during postpartum, Diastasis recti: causes and management, Breastfeeding and its impact on yoga practice.

Module 3: Yoga Practices for Post-Natal Recovery: Post-natal warm-up techniques, Gentle asanas for recovery, Breathwork and pranayama for mothers, Posture correction and alignment, Relaxation and mindfulness techniques, Seated and supine postures for beginners.

Module 4: Specialized Therapeutic Sequences: Yoga for pelvic floor strengthening, Asanas for core rebuilding and back pain, Sequences for improving sleep and relaxation, Yoga for emotional balance and stress release, Restorative yoga for energy and recovery, Modifications for C-section recovery.

Module 5: Lifestyle, Diet & Holistic Support: Postpartum diet and nutrition basics, Importance of hydration and sleep, Managing fatigue and energy levels, Integrating Ayurveda in post-natal care, Daily routine planning for new mothers, Building a support system through yoga.

Module 6: Teaching Methodology & Practical Training: Class structure and sequencing, Communication and cueing for new mothers, Observation and adjustment techniques, Managing group vs. private sessions, Creating inclusive and safe yoga spaces, Final practicum and case study review.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
