Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified PR Event Manager course is designed to train learners in planning, organizing, and executing high-impact events that serve public relations, branding, and media outreach goals for businesses, non-profits, celebrities, or public figures. The course covers event concept development, stakeholder communication, media coordination, vendor and venue management, branding integration, guest list curation, press kit preparation, and post-event evaluation. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to PR Event Management: Understanding the role of events in public relations strategy, Types of PR events: press conferences, product launches, media briefings, exhibitions, Importance of events in brand image building, stakeholder engagement, and media relations, Key responsibilities of a PR event manager and required skill sets, Overview of the event planning lifecycle, Aligning event goals with organizational communication objectives.

Module 2: Event Conceptualization and Planning: Identifying event purpose, target audience, and desired outcomes, Developing event concepts, themes, and key messages, Budgeting and resource allocation for PR events, Venue selection, permits, logistics, and vendor coordination, Creating detailed event timelines, task lists, and production schedules, Risk assessment and contingency planning.

Module 3: Media Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Building media lists and inviting journalists, influencers, and VIPs, Writing and distributing press releases, invites, and media kits, Organizing press meets, interviews, and photo opportunities, Managing stakeholder expectations and special guest experiences, Briefing spokespersons and managing public speaking opportunities, Post-event media follow-up and coverage compilation.

Module 4: Event Promotion and Audience Mobilization: Designing integrated promotional strategies: digital, print, radio, and outdoor, Creating and scheduling event teasers, posts, and countdowns on social media, Collaborating with influencers, brand ambassadors, and sponsors for reach, Engaging audiences via contests, RSVP campaigns, and email outreach, Event branding: signage, backdrop, branding zones, and giveaways, Driving registration and attendance through targeted campaigns.

Module 5: On-Ground Execution and Event Day Management: Setting up the venue: stage, audio-visuals, branding, media zones, Managing guest check-in, media registration, VIP handling, and crowd control, Coordinating live coverage: streaming, social media updates, press interactions, Handling real-time issues: technical glitches, delays, last-minute changes, Ensuring smooth transitions between agenda items and speaker slots, Managing vendor teams: production, catering, security, hospitality.

Module 6: Post-Event Communication and Career Readiness: Creating post-event reports, coverage analysis, and performance metrics, Gathering feedback from media, guests, and internal teams for improvement, Sharing thank-you notes, press clippings, and post-event press releases, Maintaining an event portfolio: concept, execution plan, media impact, Exploring career roles: PR event planner, media coordinator, brand experience manager, Staying updated with event tech trends, virtual PR events, and experiential marketing techniques.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
