Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Professional HSE Professional course is designed to develop skilled practitioners capable of supporting and maintaining HSE programs across various industries such as construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, and logistics. The course covers core concepts of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, hazard identification, risk assessment, accident prevention, emergency preparedness, waste management, and pollution control. Participants will gain practical knowledge of international standards like ISO 45001 (OHSMS), ISO 14001 (EMS), and OSHA regulations.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to HSE and Legal Framework: Overview of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) principles and importance, Key roles and responsibilities of an HSE professional, International and national HSE standards and legislation (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, EPA), Legal obligations for employer and employee under HSE law, Understanding compliance, due diligence, and enforcement actions, HSE documentation and regulatory reporting requirements.
Module 2: Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control: Types of workplace hazards: physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, Tools and techniques for hazard identification: HIRA, JSA, inspections, Risk assessment methodologies and prioritization of controls, Application of the hierarchy of controls in the workplace, Developing safe work procedures and permit-to-work systems, Monitoring, reviewing, and updating risk assessments.
Module 3: Environmental Management and Pollution Control: Environmental aspects and impacts of industrial operations, Waste management: solid, liquid, hazardous, and e-waste, Air, water, and soil pollution prevention and control measures, Overview of ISO 14001 and environmental legal compliance, Sustainable resource use and energy conservation strategies, Environmental monitoring, audits, and impact assessments.
Module 4: Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Wellbeing: Fundamentals of occupational health and hygiene principles, Control of exposure to noise, vibration, dust, fumes, and radiation, Ergonomic risk factors and workplace design for health and productivity, Health surveillance and wellness programs implementation, Psychological health and stress management at work, Chemical safety management and MSDS interpretation.
Module 5: Incident Management and Emergency Preparedness: Types of incidents: accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and conditions, Steps in incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis, Use of tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Fault Tree Analysis, Developing and implementing emergency response and evacuation plans, Conducting mock drills and readiness assessments, Post-incident corrective and preventive action planning.
Module 6: HSE Communication, Training, and Performance Monitoring: Designing and delivering effective HSE induction and refresher training, Promoting employee engagement and behavioral-based safety culture, Internal and external HSE communication strategies and tools, Setting and monitoring HSE performance indicators and KPIs, Conducting safety audits, walkthroughs, and inspections, Continuous improvement and leadership in HSE systems and practices.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
