Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Professional Makeup Artist course is designed to train individuals in the art and science of professional makeup application for various occasions including bridal, fashion, media, events, and editorial shoots. It equips learners with skills in skin preparation, color theory, facial analysis, product knowledge, and makeup techniques, preparing them for careers in the beauty, fashion, film, and cosmetic industries.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Makeup Artistry: History and Evolution of Makeup, Role and Responsibilities of a Professional Makeup Artist, Understanding Face Shapes and Skin Types, Tools and Brushes Used in Makeup, Hygiene, Safety, and Sanitation Practices, Color Theory and Undertones.

Module 2: Skin Preparation and Base Makeup: Cleansing, Toning, and Moisturizing Techniques, Primer and Foundation Application, Concealing and Correcting Techniques, Contouring and Highlighting Basics, Compact and Powder Usage, Skin Preparation for Different Skin Types.

Module 3: Eye, Lip, and Brow Techniques: Eyebrow Shaping and Filling, Eyeshadow Application and Blending Techniques, Eyeliner, Kajal, and Mascara Use, False Eyelash Application, Lip Lining and Lipstick Techniques, Day, Evening, and Party Eye Looks.

Module 4: Bridal and Occasion Makeup: Traditional and Contemporary Bridal Looks, Regional Bridal Makeup (North Indian, South Indian, etc.), Engagement and Reception Makeup, HD and Airbrush Makeup Basics, Long-Lasting and Waterproof Techniques, Draping and Accessory Coordination.

Module 5: Fashion, Editorial, and Media Makeup: Runway and Glamour Makeup Styles, Makeup for Photography and Videography, Editorial and Creative Makeup Techniques, Fantasy and Character Makeup, Male Grooming and Makeup, Working with Photographers and Stylists.

Module 6: Business, Portfolio, and Client Management: Creating a Professional Makeup Portfolio, Client Consultation and Trial Sessions, Freelancing and Salon Work Opportunities, Pricing, Bookings, and Contracts, Branding and Social Media Marketing, Professionalism and Client Retention Strategies.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.

• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
