Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Ramp Operations Supervisor course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and leadership skills required to manage and oversee ground handling activities on airport ramps. The course covers aircraft marshaling, baggage and cargo handling, refueling coordination, aircraft towing, ramp safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency response procedures.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Ramp Operations and Supervisor Roles: Overview of airport ramp operations and ground handling services, Roles and responsibilities of a Ramp Operations Supervisor, Coordination with airlines, ground handlers, and air traffic control, Regulatory requirements and safety standards (ICAO, IATA, OSHA), Key performance indicators (KPIs) in ramp operations, Importance of teamwork and communication on the ramp.
Module 2: Aircraft Handling and Marshalling Procedures: Aircraft arrival and departure protocols, Safe marshalling and guiding techniques, Use of visual signals and communication devices, Docking and parking procedures for various aircraft types, Managing pushback and tow operations, Emergency procedures during aircraft movement on the ramp.
Module 3: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Management: Types and functions of GSE: tugs, belt loaders, GPU, air conditioners, de-icers, Safe operation and maintenance of GSE, Scheduling and allocation of equipment for flight operations, Inspection and fault reporting procedures, Fueling and charging protocols for equipment.
Module 4: Baggage and Cargo Handling Operations: Baggage loading and unloading techniques to ensure safety and efficiency, Cargo handling and segregation as per airline and regulatory guidelines, Security screening and documentation compliance, Lost and found management procedures, Handling special cargo: oversized, hazardous, live animals, and perishables, Coordination with warehouse and logistics teams.
Module 5: Safety, Security, and Emergency Response: Ramp safety hazards and risk mitigation strategies, Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and enforcement, Security protocols for personnel, equipment, and restricted areas, Responding to spills, accidents, fire, and medical emergencies on the ramp, Incident reporting and investigation processes, Training staff on safety and emergency preparedness.
Module 6: Supervisory Skills and Operational Planning: Staff scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring, Training, coaching, and conflict resolution techniques, Communication with airline operations, ATC, and other stakeholders, Planning for peak traffic and irregular operations, Documentation and recordkeeping for compliance and audits, Continuous improvement initiatives and use of technology in ramp operations.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
