Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Raster Graphics Editor course is designed to provide learners with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in using raster graphics editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, or similar tools. The course covers fundamental concepts of raster images, including pixels, resolution, color modes, and image formats. Participants will learn how to manipulate and enhance images through techniques like retouching, masking, layering, color correction, and applying filters and effects. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Raster Graphics: Basics of raster graphics, Understanding pixels and resolution, Common raster file formats, Raster vs vector graphics, Software overview and installation, User interface navigation.

Module 2: Essential Editing Tools: Selection tools and techniques, Brush tools and customization, Eraser and clone stamp tools, Crop and resize functions, Using gradients and fills, Working with color picker and swatches.

Module 3: Image Correction and Enhancement: Adjusting brightness and contrast, Using levels and curves, Color correction and balance, Applying filters and effects, Noise reduction techniques, Sharpening images.

Module 4: Working with Layers and Masks: Layer types and management, Creating and organizing layers, Layer blending modes, Using layer masks and clipping masks, Adjustment layers, Grouping and linking layers.

Module 5: Advanced Editing Techniques: Retouching and healing tools, Removing backgrounds and objects, Using the pen and path tools, Creating composites and montages, Applying advanced filters, Working with smart objects.

Module 6: Exporting and Project Workflow: Saving and exporting file formats, Preparing images for print, Optimizing images for web, File management best practices, Workflow automation and shortcuts, Final project development and presentation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
