Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Receptionist course is designed to develop professional front-office and administrative skills necessary for handling day-to-day responsibilities of a receptionist with confidence and competence. This course equips learners with essential skills in communication, interpersonal etiquette, visitor management, call handling, record keeping, and customer service, making them job-ready for hospitality, corporate, healthcare, education, and service sector roles.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Front Office and Reception: Role and Responsibilities of a Receptionist, Importance of First Impressions, Front Office Equipment and Setup, Grooming and Professional Etiquette, Workplace Safety and Confidentiality, Types of Organizations and Reception Needs.

Module 2: Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication, Telephone Etiquette and Call Handling, Listening and Clarification Techniques, Handling Visitor Inquiries Professionally, Managing Multilingual Interactions, Email and Written Communication.

Module 3: Administrative and Office Management: Appointment Scheduling and Calendar Management, Filing and Record Keeping Systems, Handling Incoming and Outgoing Mails, Courier and Document Management, Inventory and Office Supply Control, Coordination with Other Departments.

Module 4: Customer Service Excellence: Understanding Customer Expectations, Greeting and Assisting Clients, Handling Complaints and Difficult Situations, Building Positive Client Relationships, Conflict Resolution Techniques, Feedback and Service Improvement.

Module 5: Technology and Office Tools: Basic Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), Using Office Management Software, Digital Filing Systems, Managing Office Equipment (Printer, Scanner, EPABX), Online Scheduling Tools, Introduction to CRM Systems.

Module 6: Professional Development and Workplace Conduct: Time Management and Prioritization, Teamwork and Collaboration, Stress and Workload Management, Ethics and Integrity at the Workplace, Career Growth and Self-Improvement, Mock Role Plays and Case Studies.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
