Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: This course is designed to equip hospitality professionals with the knowledge and skills to supervise and manage restaurant operations efficiently. Participants will learn about staff management, customer service excellence, inventory control, food and beverage operations, health and safety compliance, conflict resolution, and quality assurance.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Guest Service & Experience Management: Principles of excellent customer service, Managing guest interactions and complaints, Personalization of guest experiences, Monitoring service quality and standards, Handling VIP and special requests, Techniques for enhancing guest satisfaction

Module 3: Food & Beverage Operations: Menu knowledge and food preparation basics, Beverage service and bar operations, Table setup and service etiquette, Coordination with kitchen and service staff, Hygiene and safety standards in F&B operations, Monitoring service efficiency and quality

Module 4: Staff Management & Training: Recruitment and onboarding of restaurant staff, Staff scheduling and shift management, Training in service standards and procedures, Performance evaluation and feedback, Motivation and team building techniques, Conflict resolution and workplace communication

Module 5: Financial & Inventory Management: Budgeting and cost control in restaurant operations, Inventory tracking and stock management, Food and beverage costing, Waste reduction and portion control, Supplier and vendor coordination, Financial reporting and revenue analysis

Module 6: Leadership, Strategy & Operational Excellence: Leadership skills for restaurant supervisors, Strategic planning and workflow optimization, Implementing service improvement initiatives, Crisis and risk management, Monitoring performance and KPIs, Continuous improvement and innovation in restaurant operations

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
