Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Restorative Yoga Instructor course is designed to train participants in teaching restorative yoga, focusing on deep relaxation, stress reduction, and holistic healing. The course emphasizes understanding the principles of restorative yoga, including the use of props, supported postures, and mindful breathing techniques to release tension, calm the nervous system, and promote physical and mental rejuvenation.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Restorative Yoga: History and philosophy of restorative yoga, Principles of relaxation and stress relief, Benefits for mind, body, and nervous system, Role of mindfulness and meditation, Understanding passive and supported postures, Setting intentions for restorative yoga practice and teaching
Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology for Restorative Yoga: Musculoskeletal system and joint health, Nervous system and relaxation response, Understanding breath-mind-body connection, Identifying physical limitations and contraindications, Principles of safe alignment and support, Recognizing individual needs for restorative practice
Module 3: Restorative Yoga Asanas and Props: Supported forward bends and gentle twists, Restorative backbends and heart openers, Hip openers and gentle stretches, Use of bolsters, blankets, and blocks, Passive inversions and relaxation poses, Sequencing postures for maximum relaxation
Module 4: Pranayama and Meditation for Restorative Yoga: Breath awareness and deep diaphragmatic breathing, Slow and calming pranayama techniques, Guided meditation and visualization, Mindfulness practices for stress reduction, Body scan and progressive relaxation, Integrating breath and meditation into restorative sequences
Module 5: Designing Restorative Yoga Classes: Structuring sessions for different levels, Customizing sequences for relaxation and stress relief, Incorporating props effectively, Creating a safe and supportive environment, Monitoring participant comfort and response, Planning session duration and progression
Module 6: Professional Practices and Ethics: Ethical considerations in restorative yoga instruction, Maintaining participant safety and confidentiality, Continuing personal restorative yoga practice, Legal responsibilities and professional boundaries, Collaborating with healthcare and wellness professionals, Career pathways as a restorative yoga instructor

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
