Objective: The Certified Retail Banking Officer course is designed to provide professionals with a thorough understanding of retail banking operations, products, and services. It enables learners to develop the skills required to manage customer relationships effectively, assess and process various banking products such as deposits, loans, and credit facilities, and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Retail Banking Products & Services: Deposit products (savings, current, fixed, recurring) and features, Retail asset products (personal loans, home loans, auto/vehicle loans, education loans), Cards (credit cards, debit cards) and payment services, Wealth management & investment services for retail customers, Banking delivery channels (branches, ATMs, internet/mobile banking, POS) , Cross‑selling, product bundling and service orchestration
Module 3: Retail Lending & Risk Management: Credit underwriting for retail loans (eligibility, documentation, credit scoring), Loan repayment, amortisation schedules, moratorium/pre‑payment aspects, Identification and management of retail credit risk (delinquency, default, NPA), Collateral and security management in retail lending, Recovery, restructuring and workout mechanisms for retail lending
Module 4: Sales, Marketing & Customer Relationship Management: Retail banking customer lifecycle (acquisition, onboarding, servicing, cross‑sell, retention), Customer segmentation, targeting and value proposition design, Marketing of banking services: product lifecycle, pricing, promotion, distribution strategies, Customer experience management and service quality in retail banking, Digital & omni‑channel engagement strategies, Complaints management, grievance redressal and customer loyalty
Module 5: Operations, Compliance & Technology in Retail Banking: Retail banking operations: account opening, KYC/AML, payments processing, cards issuance, transaction monitoring, Retail banking compliance: consumer protection, AML/CTF, data privacy, regulatory reporting, Technology infrastructure: core banking systems, digital banking platforms, mobile apps, fintech partnerships, Cybersecurity, fraud detection and prevention in retail banking, Business continuity, process optimisation and cost efficiency in retail banking operations
Module 6: Financial Performance, Analytics & Strategic Retail Banking: Key retail banking performance metrics (growth, profitability, margins, NIM, cost‑income ratio), Financial statement analysis for retail bank branches and product portfolios, Use of analytics and business intelligence in retail banking: customer analytics, product profitability, risk analytics, Strategic planning in retail banking: branch network strategy, digital vs physical channels, innovation in retail banking, Emerging trends in retail banking (open banking, embedded finance, ESG in banking)
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
