Objective: The objective of the Certified Revit Structural Designer course is to provide comprehensive training in the use of Autodesk Revit for the design and documentation of structural engineering projects. This course focuses on Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques for creating intelligent 3D models of structural elements such as foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and reinforcement. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to BIM and Revit Environment: Understanding BIM and its importance in structural design, Revit interface and navigation tools, Project setup and template selection, Levels and grids creation, Units and project settings configuration, Linking architectural and MEP models.

Module 2: Structural Elements Modeling: Creating structural columns and beams, Modeling structural walls and foundations, Placing floors, slabs, and structural framing, Rebar and reinforcement modeling basics, Creating trusses and bracing systems, Structural connections and supports.

Module 3: View Management and Annotation: Creating and managing plan, section, and elevation views, View templates and visibility graphics settings, Tagging structural elements and components, Creating dimensions and annotations, Detail callouts and drafting views, Legends and schedules setup.

Module 4: Structural Analysis and Load Definition: Introduction to Revit’s analytical model, Defining load types and combinations, Assigning boundary conditions and supports, Applying point, line, and area loads, Integration with analysis software (e.g., Robot Structural Analysis), Reviewing analysis results and modifying design.

Module 5: Detailing and Documentation: Creating detailed structural drawings and sections, Reinforcement detailing using 2D/3D views, Detailing steel and concrete connections, Generating construction documentation sets, Sheet creation and title block management, Printing, exporting, and sharing project files.

Module 6: Collaboration and Project Delivery: Worksharing and central model management, Linking and coordinating with other disciplines, Clash detection and coordination workflows, Revit file management and model maintenance, Project standards and templates setup, Final project presentation and submission.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
