Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Road Transport Manager course is designed to provide professionals with comprehensive knowledge and managerial skills required to oversee and optimize road transport operations. The course covers transport planning, fleet management, vehicle scheduling, driver supervision, fuel and maintenance cost control, regulatory compliance (such as Motor Vehicles Act, RTO regulations), and road safety management. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Road Transport Management: Overview of Road Transport Systems and Operations, Role and Responsibilities of a Road Transport Manager, Types of Road Transport (Freight, Passenger, Specialized), Importance of Road Transport in the Supply Chain, Key Stakeholders in Road Transport, Challenges and Trends in Road Transport.

Module 2: Fleet Planning and Vehicle Management: Fleet Selection and Sizing Strategies, Vehicle Acquisition and Lifecycle Costing, Preventive Maintenance and Repair Scheduling, Vehicle Utilization and Downtime Management, Fuel Efficiency and Consumption Monitoring, GPS and Telematics Integration.

Module 3: Transport Operations and Route Management: Trip and Route Planning Techniques, Load Optimization and Vehicle Allocation, Scheduling and Dispatching Procedures, Monitoring Delivery Performance and On-Time KPIs, Documentation for Road Transport Operations, Coordination with Drivers and Clients.

Module 4: Legal Compliance and Safety Management: Motor Vehicle Acts and Transport Regulations, Permits, Licenses, and Road Taxation, Driver Hours of Service and Logbook Compliance, Safety Procedures and Emergency Response, Vehicle Inspection and Regulatory Audits, Managing Accidents and Insurance Claims.

Module 5: Cost Control and Performance Optimization: Transport Costing and Budgeting, Reducing Operational Costs and Empty Runs, Performance Metrics for Fleet and Drivers, Use of Technology for Efficiency Gains, Benchmarking and Continuous Improvement, Case Studies on Cost-Efficient Operations.

Module 6: Human Resource and Customer Management: Driver Recruitment, Training, and Retention, Employee Health, Safety, and Welfare Practices, Conflict Resolution and Labor Law Compliance, Customer Service and Complaint Handling, Communication and Relationship Management, Building a Reliable and Customer-Centric Transport Team.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
